Pizzeoli is an Neapolitan Pizzeria located in the beautiful historic area of Soulard in St. Louis, MO. Being an avid home baker and pizza maker it was a dream of mine to open a Pizzeria, specifically a Neapolitan Pizzeria. After some ups and downs in my former career, I decided to strike it out on my own and open Pizzeoli. I love the beauty of a purely wood fired oven. There is no better pizza than one coming from a 900 degree oven baked in the right way with the freshest ingredients. I make every batch of dough as well as stretch and bake every pizza. We make our all our mozzarella in house as well. Neapolitan pizza has taken America by storm in the past 10 years or so, but its nothing new, its how pizzas have always been been made. Pizzeoli is all vegetarian with many vegan options as well. Why is Pizzeoli vegetarian? I feel on many levels is it a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle bringing untold spiritual, physical, emotional, environmental and economic benefits.  In addition, traditional pizza did not have any meat put on top of it. 

In just a short time Pizzeoli has received many accolades including best new pizzeria in St. Louis by St. Louis Magazine and The Riverfront Times, Sauce Magazine hit list, restaurant critic Ian Froeb's STL100 for 2015 and 2016 (top 100 restaurants in St. Louis), St. Louis Post Dispatch Go List 2015 Critic's Pick for best pizza in St. Louis, Riverfront Times best pizza in St. Louis, St Louis Magazine A-list 2015 for best pizza and St. Louis Post Dispatch's 10 best new restaurants for 2015. Pizzeoli is also featured in "Where to Eat Pizza", the definitive book on the best pizza in the world published by Phaidon, a world renown publisher of books in the creative arts based in the UK.
